Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet Dance Classes
Our 3-4 year old Pre-Primary ballet dance class is a perfect place for budding performers to start their dance journey. Backed by research from leading industry professionals, this program will teach both performance and life skills through fun music, experimentation, story-telling and play.

In our 4-5 year old Primary ballet dance class, students will begin learning some conventions of a traditional classical ballet class, while still having plenty of moments for experimentation and fun! Students will develop their sense of rhythm, musicality, and body management, while learning the basis of the classical ballet technique.

All students in this program will be invited to participate in two yearly concerts! Our students love to experience the feeling of dancing on stage, wearing beautiful costumes, performing to their loved ones in the audience!

Performance Opportunities
All students enrolled in a kinder dance program will be invited to perform in two onstage performances per year.

Our mini concert, typically held in August, allows students to experience being onstage in a casual and relaxed environment. Students will perform some class work and a small dance onstage, with their teacher present.

Our end of year concert is a performing arts extravaganza featuring costumes, makeup, bright lights, and detailed stage sets. With students from every class working together to produce an incredible show, this is an event you don't want to miss.
Meet your teachers:
Miss Ashleigh
Having been a student at CWDC growing up, I feel incredibly lucky to be able to pass on my love of dance to younger generations. I have been teaching dance for 8 years and feel very passionate about teaching new dancers good habits while also having heaps of fun!

Miss Selena
Having been a part of Charlesworth Walsh Dance Centre since a young age, I have always loved moving and grooving to music. I am most excited to share the joy of dance with everyone - helping our tiniest dancer learn, laugh, and leap!
